Worked with the Digital Harbor High School Program Advisory Committee to inspire students to explore maritime careers, including a prestigious Summer Internship.
Supported the 17th International submarine races at Carderock. Students showcased their skills and problem-solving prowess in challenges related to submarine and hull design
The MTA has supported the Carderock Laboratory's extensive outreach program to local schools in the region and has developed a motivational lecture for high school students to encourage careers in STEM fields.
As part of a Defense Industry Diversification Initiative sponsored by the Defense Department, the MTA has focused on leveraging military technologies developed by Maryland businesses for commercial sector opportunities
The organization is also promoting the "LET'S GO Boys & Girls" program for K-8 students, which encourages hands-on learning.
The organization is also an active member of the Maryland Military Installation Council, which is chartered by the Governor of Maryland and chaired by the Maryland Department of Commerce.
