MTA’s volunteer Speakers’ Bureau connects distinguished maritime experts with students and professionals, offering free talks on technology and careers to educate, inspire, and strengthen the maritime industry’s future.
Maryland Maritime Technology Alliance (MTA) conducts a small volunteer maritime technology ’speakers’ bureau’ to enable eminent maritime engineers, scientists & businesspeople to offer, free of charge, various lecture/presentation topics. This service is intended primarily for college level students (ie classes) as a visiting speaker, and primarily in the Maryland region within about fifty miles of the where the volunteer speakers reside. But depending on availability, the lectures could also be suitable to particularly interested high school classes, or to interns, professional society student sections, or entry-level engineers’ training programs.
